St. Lucie Ballet productions are prepared with quality and attention to every detail. Directors Lydia Oquendo and Rogelio Corrales have the knowledge of many years of building and choreographing beautifully done performances. They have the wisdom, talent for teaching, and directing ages three years old to pre-professionals up through adults to perform at a highly professional level.

These incredibly gifted artists have performed on world stages and international venues. They give productions that special edge while adding to an extraordinary level of every production's value. Audiences always have a truly memorable experience.
For the winter performance the full-length production of The Nutcracker is a performance that fills a theater such as the Sunrise Theatre with joyous ovations and applause. Six years in the making, St. Lucie Ballet’s The Nutcracker displays gorgeous backdrops, exquisite props, beautiful costumes, dazzling special effects and exciting choreography that entertain all ages. Many people have made it their holiday tradition.
In the spring we present suites or full-lengths of some of the best classics known to the ballet world. Coppelia, Don Quixote, A Midsummer’s Night Dream and Swan Lake -- are just a few.

Students at St. Lucie Ballet of every age, also perform in special productions, especially their very own End-of-the-Year showcase featuring classical solos and contemporary, tap, jazz and hip hop ensemble pieces. It is truly wonderful to watch all of this bright and young talent on stage.
